Michelin Pro 3 Race, Vittoria Prototype, Veloflex 2008 [en]

Two prototypes of the latest tire generation, which are coming from the most important manufacturers, succeeded in the hardest real world test, i.e the Tour de France.
Michelin at AG2R and Bouygues Telecom, Vittoria at Barloworld, the victories and the good ranks are numerous.
However there is no information about them. Neither of the two brands wish to reveal some specifications before the salons. This is obvious but so frustrating for the techno weenies we all are… For lack of technical precision, we at least have at our’s disposal some shots showing details of these new outer layers:

On their side, Veloflex tubulars camp on their positions. There is no visible evolution except a thread change, which is important for the output, but negligible against the overall architecture. Thus, this year the "Carbon" model gets the "Service Course" thread.

2006 threads

Carbon 2007/2008 thread is identical to the Service Course
